It is a very nice place to visit with family and friends because it is not overcrowded like other tourist points. There is a restaurant as well where you can enjoy your meal with a lake view as well.

Salt Lake
Lake Tuz(salt) is the second largest lake in Turkey, with its 1,665 km² surface area and one of the largest hypersaline lakes in the world. It is located in the Central Anatolia Region, 105 km northeast of Konya, 150 km south-southeast of Ankara, and 57 km northwest of Aksaray. The round trip is approximately 5-6 hours. First, my driver will come to your hotel to pick you up. Salt Lake is approximately a 1-hour and 45-minute drive from Göreme. The best time to visit the salt lake is at sunset. We will leave at 2 pm in winter and 3-5 pm in summer, as the days are short in winter. You can spend 1-2 hours at the salt lake enjoying and taking pictures. Sometimes we can also see birds like flamingos. We will provide you with bottled water, juice, and something to eat for refreshment. After the tour, when you are comfortable to come back. We will bring you back to your hotel.
